Br. Ahsan & Sister Noureen along with the Asad & Idrees families will receive the ‘Azaa (condolences) at the Islamic Center of Boca Raton (ICBR) Friday September 7, between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

With great sadness we announce the death of baby Musa Abdullah Asad son of Br. Ahsan Asad and Sister Noureen Idrees. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Elay’hi Raji’oon. (To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return)

May Allah shower the Asad & Idrees families with the patience, tranquility and peace needed at this time of difficulty.

Surely, Allah takes what is His, and what He gives is His, and to all things He has appointed a time … so have patience and be rewarded.

Indeed losing a loved one is always difficult to bear. May Allah give the family patience and give them reward in the akhira for losing an infant.

1- The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “When a person’s child dies, Allah the Most High asks His angels, ‘Have you taken out the life of the child of My slave?’  They reply in the affirmative. He then asks, ‘Have you taken the fruit of his heart?’ They reply in the affirmative. Thereupon he asks, ‘What has My slave said?’ They say: ‘He has praised You and said: Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall be returned).’ Allah says: ‘Build a house for My slave in Jannah and name it Bait-ul-Hamd (the House of Praise).’” [Tirmidhi]

2- It was narrated in al-Saheehayn that there is a special reward for the person whose child dies but he bears that with patience and hopes for reward. It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the women said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Give us a day (to teach us),” So he preached to them and said, “Any woman who loses three of her children, they will be a shield for her against the Fire.” A woman said, “And two?” He said, “And two.”

3- Abu Hassan reported: I said to Abu Huraira that my two children had died. Would you narrate to me anything from Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) a hadith which would soothe our hearts in our bereavements? He said: Yes. Small children are the fowls of Paradise. If one of them meets his father (or he said his parents) he would take hold of his cloth, or he said with his hand as I take hold of the hem of your cloth (with my hand). And he (the child) would not take off (his hand) from it until Allah causes his father to enter Paradise.

May Allah appoints Musa Abdullah Asad and Ibrahim Asad to welcome their mother and father at the gate of Jannah ul firdaus . Ameen
