Our beloved Sheikh Othman Halalo passed away yesterday Tuesday 12/26 afternoon in Madinah Munawwarah. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Elay’hi Raji’oon (To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return).
Sheikh Halalo was born in Yafa, Palestine in 1933 was forced to immigrate to Homs (Syria) where he established a school and was a known physics & chemistry teacher, he was once again forced to immigrate to Jeddah (Saudi) where he worked as a school principal then Imam & lecturer. Sheikh Othman has dedicated a decade of his life to shape the Muslim community in Boca Raton and help establish the current Masjid and Islamic School.
للهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْـه ، وَعافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْـه ، وَأَكْـرِمْ نُزُلَـه ، وَوَسِّـعْ مُدْخَـلَه ، وَاغْسِلْـهُ بِالْمـاءِ وَالثَّـلْجِ وَالْبَـرَدْ ، وَنَقِّـهِ مِنَ الْخطـايا كَما نَـقّيْتَ الـثَّوْبُ الأَبْيَـضُ مِنَ الدَّنَـسْ ، وَأَبْـدِلْهُ داراً خَـيْراً مِنْ دارِه ، وَأَهْلاً خَـيْراً مِنْ أَهْلِـه ، وَزَوْجَـاً خَـيْراً مِنْ زَوْجِه، وَأَدْخِـلْهُ الْجَـنَّة ، وَأَعِـذْهُ مِنْ عَذابِ القَـبْر وَعَذابِ النّـار O Allah, forgive Sheikh Othman and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.
